After watching Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” I began thinking about cultivation of crops in space. The rings are irrgated by the outside pipes and the water is moved through the soil through centrifugal force. Each ring spins at a different rate, simulating differences in gravitional force to allow examination of how gravity affects growth.

I plan to expand on this idea further for a future XR development project.
